Trimmed sides of the of the cowls to match the top and bottom sections. Cut and fitted lower half of hinge

I decided to trim the sides outside this evening as I had tidied the workshop up. Funny as I cutting and thought there was a lot of dust flying around no wonder the workshop had been such a mess. No, it had started snowing!
Fitting the piano hinge to the side of the cowl.
The hinge pin is going through the firewall rather than out the front of the cowl. I will be fitting the cowl hinge pin from in the cockpit. It will be held in place to stop it coming out.

Here I am using some gaffa tape to pull the two halfs together before drilling the top half of the hinge.
